Administrative Assistant
Lincoln Property CompanyWhat This Role Actually Covers
Administrative support at a firm like Lincoln Property Company means keeping a commercial real estate team running smoothly across a wide range of operational details. On any given day, you're managing calendars and coordinating meeting logistics, drafting and proofreading correspondence, processing expense reports and purchase orders, and making sure filing systems stay organized and accurate. Onboarding logistics for new team members, office supply management, and data entry into company systems round out the picture. The work is varied, the pace is consistent, and the expectation is that you handle competing priorities without waiting to be told what comes first.
This position is fully in-office in El Segundo, five days a week during standard business hours. If you've worked remotely and prefer that flexibility, this one's probably not the right fit.
What You Bring to the Role
- A high school diploma or equivalent, minimum
- At least two years of administrative or clerical experience; commercial real estate exposure is a genuine differentiator here
- Solid command of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Clear written and verbal communication, the kind that doesn't need editing before it goes out
- Strong organizational instincts and real attention to detail
- The ability to manage a shifting workload independently
Where This Role Can Take You
Administrative roles at large commercial real estate firms are a genuine entry point into the industry. Lincoln manages over 720 million square feet of commercial space across asset types ranging from office and industrial to life science and data centers. Working inside an organization of that scale exposes you to how real estate operations, asset management, and client reporting actually function at an institutional level. Assistants who learn the vocabulary of the business, how leases get structured, how reporting cycles work, how internal teams coordinate across asset types, tend to move into coordinator, analyst, or operations specialist roles faster than those who treat the administrative layer as a holding pattern.
The skills you'll build here, specifically the ability to manage complex scheduling across senior team members, produce clean professional correspondence, and maintain accurate records under pressure, transfer directly into transaction coordination, property management support, and real estate operations roles. Lincoln's stated commitment to mentorship and internal training means the development pathways are real, not just recruiting language.
Compensation for this position is posted in the $65,000 to $75,000 range, with a standard benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
